Patru Maini: it’s so easy to help in the new campaign

Patru Maini, our construction materials client just launched their successful annual campaign for the fourth year in a row. This year, under a concept we proposed, You don’t have to be rich in order to help”, Patru Maini is gathering proposals of buildings in need of renovations through the app Philantropists 2016 (#Filantropi2016). For more than a month, anyone can propose a public building dedicated to children, which needs improvements and renovations. Out of the proposals, 37 buildings will be selected by the end of April, based on the votes.

The funds raised for the renovations will be taken out of the sales of the four most popular products from the Primus range. Moreover, everything is locally sourced. For instance, money raised in Brasov will go towards renovating the buildings based also in Brasov, hence it’s a campaign which helps communities.

This year, we took the Philantropists 2016 platform to the next level. In the app, through an easy Facebook login, users can propose a building filtered by the county it’s in, uploading a description of its needs and eloquent photos, afterwards they can vote for their building of choice. Also, as the campaign works with the kind help of volunteers, the app also features a volunteer registration form, a description of all the helpful Primus materials and a full description of the mechanism.

What is more, an up to date counter constantly shows the number of registered votes, the enrolled buildings and volunteers.

The platform filantropi2016.patrumaini.ro is more than a landing page for a brand campaign. Effectively, it’s the only tool that centralizes the renovation needs of public institutions dedicated to children: nurseries, kindergartens, schools and high-schools, social centers, social housing or orphanages, and also pediatric hospitals. It is the sole coagulator of the state of the institutions and the only place where a potential investor, NGO or individual who is willing to help can see these real problems, as state-funded entities have never made a list of these sorts public.

Additionally, the posters which serve as key visuals for the campaign have been made in partnership with Carioca Studio and have been featured in number 01-2016 of Lürzer’s Archive.

The idea behind them is that the every-man can be the change in the community; you don’t need to be wealthy in order to make an impact. Hence, we placed regular characters in glorious stances, which remind of the grace of Rembrandtesque paintings.
